AA2G

Encapsulated and stabilised vitamin C, which is extracted from plants and fruits. When applied to the skin, the enzyme alpha-glucosidase causes the bond to break, gradually releasing vitamin C. Originally, AA2G was developed in Japan as a semi-pharmaceutical for brightening the complexion. It suppresses melanin synthesis in melanocytes, reduces the amount of pre-existing melanin in the skin and, in the process, stimulates collagen production in the fibroblast. In addition, AA2G inhibits free radicals, which are produced when exposed to UV radiation and cause epidermal damage and erythema. By gradually releasing vitamin C, it thus helps reduce irritation and swelling. Expression wrinkles will also become less visible.

Abyssinian oil

Stearic acid. Fatty acid that occurs naturally in certain foods. Acts as a cleaning agent and emulsifier. 

Tamarind Extract

A natural extract that mimics the effects of hyaluronic acid, for smooth and elastic skin.

Tangerine oil

Tangerine oil has a purifying effect on the skin. It stimulates cell renewal and has a lovely sweet fragrance.

Tartaric acid

Tartaric acid is a fruit acid (Alpha Hydroxy Acid - AHA). This fruit acid exfoliates the skin by dissolving the connections between skin cells (desmosomes) dissolving them, reducing adhesion and promoting exfoliation. Because tartaric acid has a coarser molecular structure than lactic or salicylic acid, it works more at the skin surface.

This is the distilled/purified form of turmeric oil, extracted from the roots of curcuma longa.
