CTZN is the makeup brand of the new generation
CTZN was founded by three sisters: Aleena, Aleezeh, and Naseeha Khan. They were born in the United States, raised in Dubai, and have a Pakistani background. They felt they were not represented in any advertising in all these countries. With a "middle-brown" skin color, a Southeast Asian or Middle Eastern person was never shown.
Not only were they not represented in advertising, but makeup colors also did not consider these skin colors. As a result, they often had to mix makeup to find the right color for themselves. They discussed it with their friends and got confirmation of the wrongs. In addition, they noticed that the makeup industry was not diverse enough for men. They wanted to change this, so in 2017 they started their makeup brand, CTZN. The new gender-neutral makeup brand for everyone!
