The home testers tested the Intensiv Cleansing Gel, a luxury cleansing gel based on Castor and Jojoba oil, which optimally cleanses the skin and removes makeup and other impurities in a gentle, intensive manner.

Intensiv gel sounds super. On first use, the smell of olive oil was very noticeable. It also feels like putting pure oil on your face. At first, I didn't really know what I thought of it. The gel cleanses well, makeup comes off. After a few uses you get used to the smell of olive oil. I do like that your skin does not dry out, a layer of oil remains. I personally like that. I have dry skin so oil comes in handy. All in all satisfied, cleanses well and feels nice. You have to love the smell, but it is very natural.

In the morning, I used the Intensiv Cleansing Gel to cleanse my face. The product feels cooling when it applies to the skin. It is a fairly firm gel that you apply to the skin, but when you wash it off it foams very little, almost not at all. I would like it a little better if it foamed a little more.
You hardly smell the product at all. I used it both at night before going to bed and in the morning after getting out of bed. I love gel products. It feels very nice on the skin.

The cleansing gel is translucent and feels light when applied. You first apply it to dry skin then it feels very light and airy when you then wet your face it feels warily greasy and also leaves a kind of greasy film on your face when you are done. I'm not quite sure if I like that or not. It is not a cleanser that removes your makeup well. You really need an extra product, which I found unfortunate because I usually like it when a cleanser does that. I often used another cleaner afterwards to remove the greasy layer from my face. It did give a nourishing feeling.

I put the product on my hand and added a little water. Then I spread it evenly on my face. I ran it over my face with circular motions and then rinsed it off with lukewarm water. It is a gel substance, and you can feel that there is oil in it. The oil leaves a layer on the skin after cleansing. This feels nice! The product cleanses well, and the house feels moisturized.

I expected the product to be a gel since that is what it is called, but it's not. The description does say it is a "non-foaming" gel. It is more of an oil-like substance. Extra nice for dry skin, though. I did need a few pumps for the desired result. It works slightly differently than a foaming product that you can really wash with.
