Facial cleansing tips for normal to oily skin

Getting or maintaining radiant skin is usually in your own hands. For example, it is essential to living a healthy life. You can think about sleeping well, eating healthy, and getting enough exercise. In addition to a healthy lifestyle, using an excellent facial cleanser daily is essential to keep your skin glowing. But which products are the best to use for that? This blog will give tips on cleansing normal to oily skin.

During my tutorials, I use many make-up products to create different looks. And often several times a day. Because of this, my skin can get a big hit, and cleaning and taking care of my skin is, of course, even more critical.

Tip 1: Choose a mild facial cleanser

Sunlight, exhaust fumes, bacteria; your skin has a hard time every day. Since your skin has a hard enough time sometimes, it is best to cleanse it morning and night with a mild facial cleanser. A gentle facial cleanser removes bacteria and sebum but does not damage or dry out your skin. By the way, using mild facial cleansing also applies to oily skin. Oily skin can equally dry out by using harsh cleansers.

Tip 2: Avoid harsh detergents

When you want to purchase a good facial cleanser for your skin, it is essential to look closely at the ingredient list. This is because some cleaners seem very gentle on the skin at first glance, while they contain aggressive detergents. These can dry out or even damage the skin. These include the following detergents: Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Palmate, Salvia Officinalis, Sodium Cocoate, and Sodium Palm Kernelate. Detergents that make excellent ingredients in a mild facial cleanser include Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Lauryl, and Glucose Carboxylate.

Tip 3: Treat oily skin with a foaming cleanser

I told you earlier that it is best to use a mild cleanser, even for oily skin. Aggressively cleansing oily skin will stimulate the skin more to produce sebum against dehydration. The effect of this is that (more) pimples may appear. Do you already suffer from oily skin with spots? Then you can choose to use a foaming cleanser. However, it is essential to rinse the skin with water after using this facial cleanser. In addition to using a foaming facial cleanser, oily skin with pimples can also benefit significantly from an exfoliant with salicylic acid.

Tip 4: Be kind to your facial skin

Beautiful facial skin is your calling card. When your skin is balanced, you will feel more comfortable. Treat your facial skin as your most important asset. For example, never go to sleep without cleansing your skin first. Do not scrub or rub hard during facial cleansing; gently pat your skin with a clean towel. You will thank yourself when you see the proper treatment's effect on your facial skin!

With the above tips, facial cleansing will become a breeze for you!

Good luck!
