Review: Tyro Aloe Vera Mask

Did you know that the Tyro Aloe Vera Mask has soothing and restorative properties?

Tyro Aloe Vera Mask for calm and restored skin

A mask is something that every person should use regularly. Not only for the beautiful relaxing moment you can create with a mask but also because a mask always gives that little bit extra to the skin. A mask is often nourishing, cleansing, relaxing, hydrating, soothing, or even more. The Tyro Aloe Vera Mask is soothing and refreshing in every case.

Tyro

Tyro offers skin care based on the best that science and nature have to offer. TYRO's philosophy is that skin should be cared for not only from the outside but also from the inside. Dr. A. Molenaar, an internationally renowned plastic surgeon, laid the foundation for the brand 25 years ago. Since then, TYRO has developed advanced skin care products with a team of pharmacists, dermatologists, and nutritionists.

Tyro Aloe Vera Mask

The Tyro Aloe Vera Mask is a soothing and refreshing mask that helps restore the skin's moisture barrier. Two ingredients in this mask that help with this are green tea and, as the name suggests, aloe vera. People with all skin types can use the mask, but susceptible skin and dehydrated skin will significantly benefit from this mask.

Aloe Vera

Aloe vera comes, most probably already known, from the aloe vera plant. The plant is blue-green and looks somewhat like a cactus, but it is not. The plant is found in the Mediterranean, Indonesia, The Netherlands, the Antilles, and the West Indies. The plant is also widely cultivated for use in cosmetics and food, among other things.

The juice of this plant is a kind of gel. It contains enzymes, minerals, essential fatty acids, and amino acids. These ingredients are pretty good for the skin; among other things, they repair the skin, help heal wounds and stimulate cell renewal. So aloe vera is a very versatile product and an ideal ingredient in the Tyro Aloe Vera Mask.

Green tea

Green tea is produced by treating the young leaves of the tea plant with steam immediately after harvesting. This keeps the leaves green. The ECGC (polyphenol) in green tea positively affects the skin. ECGC does mainly two things:

  • It acts as an anti-inflammatory
  • It prevents damage to the skin after sun exposure

These two properties of green tea contribute to this mask's soothing and restorative power.

Usage and experience

The Tyro Aloe Vera Mask is straightforward to use: cleanse the face as usual at the end of the day. Then apply a generous layer of the face mask. Go to bed, and the following day the mask can be removed with water.

A generous layer may sound like you need a thick white mask on the face, but that is not the case. When I tested this mask, I applied two Tyro Aloe Vera Mask pumps before bed and spread it on my face and neck. I no longer had a white haze on my face, but my face still felt a bit sticky. That layer on the face completely soaks into the skin throughout the night.

When I woke up the following day, my face no longer felt sticky or greasy but very smooth and nourished. The skin also looked calm, as promised. This mask is suitable for people with sensitive skin (like mine) but can also be used for other skin types.

By the way, this mask is also ideal for people who can't spare time to put on a mask: apply it before bed and go to bed, and it couldn't be easier and faster!

I can't think of a reason not to try the Tyro Aloe Vera Mask: it's easy, fast, and very nourishing for the skin, and the following day my skin feels wonderfully soft and soothed. I'm a fan!
