Not sure what skin type you have? Below you can read more about the different skin types, and you can discover what your skin type is.

Normale huid

Normal skin

Your skin feels good and has no oily or dry areas.
The pores are tiny, and your skin shows no congestion or blackheads

Skincare products for normal skin aim to keep the skin condition balanced and prevent moisture loss. Light products are best for normal skin. Here you can find all skin care products for normal skin.

Oily skin

  • Your skin has oily areas (T-zone) or is entirely oily
  • Large or visible pores
  • Your skin has congestion and blackheads.

By using the right skin care products, you will bring your skin back into balance, your skin will look more even, and coarse pores will be visibly reduced. Liquid- or gel-based products are suitable for oily skin. The basis for oily skin is a good cleanser. If you have oily skin only in some areas, be careful when using skin care products for oily skin on your entire face. This is to prevent your entire skin from "drying out. In this case, use products for oily skin only locally. Here you can find all skin care products for oily skin.

Droge huid

Dry skin

  • Your skin has no oily parts and can feel tight (sometimes)
  • Your skin looks matt and dull
  • Pores are not or barely visible, and your skin shows no clogging or blackheads.

Dry skin skin care products are mainly aimed at restoring the moisture balance in the skin. This is by strengthening the natural skin barrier and preventing moisture loss in the skin. Here you will find all skin care products for dry skin. In doubt about whether you have dry or dehydrated skin? Then read at the bottom of this blog about the difference between dry and dehydrated skin.

Sensitive skin

  • Your skin becomes easily irritated, resulting in redness
  • Your skin sometimes tingles, or you experience itching or rashes.
  • Your skin suffers from rosacea, rosacea, and eczema.

Sensitive skin care products are characterized by neutral ingredients and counteracting redness. These products often do not contain perfume or alcohol because the skin reacts extra to them. Essential for sensitive skin is to protect the skin from the weather and to soothe the skin. Here you can find all skin care products for sensitive skin.

Dehydrated skin

  • You see dry lines and flakes
  • Your skin can be both dry and oily
  • Your skin is thin
  • You experience redness around the eyes

Skin care products for dehydrated skin focus on the skin barrier. The goal is to make it strong and healthy again and prevent too much moisture from evaporating. In addition, your skin needs to be more resilient to outside influences. So dehydrated skin needs two things: (1) products that seal the skin from those harmful substances and (2) products that retain moisture in the skin. Here you can find all skin care products for dehydrated skin.

Aged skin

  • Your skin loses elasticity
  • You see (fine) lines, and your skin loses volume
  • The top layer of the skin becomes thinner and, therefore, lifeless and dull.
  • Poor circulation, pigmentation, and large pores

Skin care products for aging skin counteract skin aging - they, unfortunately, cannot stop it. Essential ingredients in skin care products for aging skin are vitamins A, and C. Vitamin A helps against wrinkles and makes skin smoother and more even. Vitamin C is an antioxidant (protects against free radical damage) and supports the production of collagen, which helps keep your skin firm. Find all skin care products for aging skin here.

Do I have dry or dehydrated skin?

We hear this question more often because both skin types feel the same: dry. Yet there is a difference between dry and dehydrated skin. Dry skin is a genetic skin type; you may or may not have it. Dry skin needs constant hydration and needs rich (oil) products. Dehydrated skin is a skin type that can occur in anyone, and your skin can be either oily or dry. Dehydrated skin is often caused by external factors such as environment and nutrition. A hydration boost helps you rebalance dehydrated skin.
