Tested: hannah Brilliant Touch

hannah is a Dutch brand founded in 1979 by Hannah Hakze with a clear mission: It's not about what you do for your skin, but how you do it. She developed a concept and matching products for effective and long-lasting skin improvement. hannah products are developed from daily practice. This ensures that the products are actually tailored to the skin and provide good support for solving skin problems.

The (home) testers tested hannah Brilliant Touch, a silky cream that immediately provides an optically flawless and clear complexion and, in the long term, provides an intensive and complete remodeling effect on sagging and aging skin.

Martyna: "hannah stands for the quality of their products, and this again shows the Brilliant Touch."

The hannah Brilliant Touch, is a good cream that I put on in the morning on cleansed skin. It absorbs immediately and feels very nice and soft on the skin. Once it is absorbed, you feel smooth even skin. I notice after just a few applications that the skin feels good and nice. It really is what I expected it to be.

Functioning score 5/5

The effect is excellent. It absorbs immediately and the cream does its job well.

Smell score 5/5

It has a neutral, but pleasant, scent.

Texture score 5/5

The texture is thicker than hannah's other creams, but it works perfectly.

Price-quality score 5/5

It is good value for money. The price is good, and the quality is what you expect from it.

Overall score 5/5

A good product that shows its effect on the skin well. I am very satisfied with it. There are no downsides. This product is excellent.

Positive points

  • Draws in immediately after two pumps.
  • Leaves no traces.

Negative points

  • None

Nadja: "This product is highly recommended for sensitive skin."

What a wonderful product! With its rich texture, and wonderful subtle fragrance, it is a pleasure to apply to my skin. I apply the hannah Brilliant Touch after cleansing my skin and applying my serum, so last. It absorbs well and has a matte finishing touch. It feels wonderfully soft, and I noticed it is a perfect base for under my makeup. I had somewhat sensitive and red skin when I received this product at home, but this seems to have disappeared like snow in the sun after a few days. I would recommend it to anyone with a sensitive, red skin!

Functioning score 5/5

My sensitive skin coped well with this, and the redness even disappeared.

Smell score 5/5

A lovely, yet subtle fragrance.

Texture score 5/5

Nice and rich, but soft.

Price-quality score 5/5

It is well worth the money.

Overall score 5/5

I am extremely satisfied with this product.

Positive points

  • Rich structure.
  • Lovely, subtle fragrance.
  • Also good for sensitive skin.

Negative points

  • If I had to name a downside, then it would be the packaging. The parts are sometimes loose and the product does not deserve that.

Alice: "Lovely to apply after cleansing your skin for an instant skin smoothing and mattifying effect."

I used hannah Brilliant Touch almost every day for three weeks. I used it after cleansing and applying my moisturizer. Then, I used it before applying my foundation, sort of like a primer. By applying Brilliant Touch first, almost from the first day, I noticed that my foundation covers better and looks better, you get a kind of "glow" from it without your skin feeling greasy or becoming oily during the day - very nice! It smells nice, not too strong, like almond. I loved ending my routine with that. The texture is light and cooling, almost like a gel because it absorbs super fast and gives a matte finish. Big plus I think, it feels very nourishing to your skin without leaving a "layer" behind. My skin felt a lot smoother and less 'rough'. In fact, I have somewhat rough skin with coarse pores. This product really helped to soften that and make it more even. Very happy with it!

You can also see in the photos that when applied, it becomes a kind of 'gel'. It quickly becomes somewhat translucent and quickly soaks into the skin as you continue to apply. You can see that I had somewhat rough skin with visible pores/texture. After applying Brilliant Touch, it leaves a lovely layer that evens out and moisturizes all unevenness. You can see a sort of glowy effect that absorbs quickly and then leaves a matte finish.

Functioning score 4/5

Worked well, I found in particular that it makes a good base for applying foundation. So in that sense as a kind of primer. It wasn't smoothing enough for me on the days I didn't use foundation. That's also because of my skin. My skin has some red spots and coarse pores so just using the Brilliant Touch didn't give me enough of a "finish. On the days I didn't use foundation, I prefer to use the hannah Touch of Colour. This is the sister of the Brilliant Touch with a tint to give just that evening effect in terms of complexion on my skin.

This product is also said to have a long-term skin-improving function. I just haven't experienced it yet.

Smell score 5/5

Nice smell, nothing to comment on. I didn't find it too overpowering, it's just right. I actually don't like products that smell too strong, but this is really a very subtle almond scent.

Texture score 5/5

Super nice texture! I didn't expect it to absorb so quickly. I thought it was almost like a gel, but an ultimate nourishing gel. In fact, it absorbs very quickly, and you still feel like your skin is intensely cared for.

Price-quality score 3/5

I liked it as a product, but in terms of price/quality for me, it wasn't quite in proportion. I didn't see an actual skin improvement. Actually, I found it to be more like a primer. Brilliant Touch costs almost as much as a moisturizer from the hannah line, and then I still feel that with a moisturizer, or the Touch of Colour, you get more value for money than with Brilliant Touch.

Overall score 4/5

Very nice product to use. I particularly noticed the "instant" effects: after application, my skin felt more even and matte. I haven't experienced the long-term effects yet, but maybe I should use it longer.

Positive points

  • Draws in quickly.
  • Lovely, subtile fragrance.
  • Mattifying.
  • Evens out unevenness in skin texture.

Negative points

  • Not sufficiently smoothing in terms of complexion.

Martine: "Great product to use alongside your hannah products. Especially your lines are less because it fills in."

This really is a fantastic product: an all-rounder! The Brilliant Touch gives that little bit more to your skin, fills in your lines, and evens out your skin. You only need 1 pump for your whole face. What I like about it, is that you can also use it under your eyes! It feels very soft and comfortable. I will definitely keep using this in the future!

Functioning score 5/5

Very good. Even without makeup, you can go outS after using it.

Smell score 5/5

Blissful sweet scent, but not overpowering.

Texture score 5/5

Spreads wonderfully. You need very little.

Price-quality score 4/5

The price is around €59 for 30ml. With this amount, it lasts for about a month. Definitely a good price for this product.

Overall score 5/5

Lovely product. Even if you don't want to wear makeup. Nice addition to hannah's other products.

Positive points

  • Fills in the lines.
  • Equalizes your skin.
  • Gives a nice mattifying effect.
  • Economical to use.

Negative points

  • It is hard to judge how much you have left in the bottle. The packaging is opaque.

Conclusion: Direct results & lovely to use.
