NORA BODE Kosmetik was founded in 1994 in Hohenstein by the two owners: Jutta and Lothar Bode. The treatment of patients with skin diseases was the focus of the then affiliated Practice for Naturopathy. Lothar Bode, technician and practitioner was looking for a way to infuse anti-inflammatory drugs appropriately and painlessly into fragile, diseased skin. Pulsed oxygen pressure injection arose from these tests.
At that time, Jutta Bode, with a background as a pharmacist, developed preparations for the treatment of patients in the affiliated laboratory, which were individually tailored to the patient. The enthusiasm of the patients about the creams and lotions was great, because not only inflammation and impurities were relieved. The patients were so happy with their smoother and softer-feeling skin that she finally turned her attention to the development of high-quality cosmetic preparations.
That means today: that only active ingredients with proven effectiveness are used, and the use of mineral oils, parabens and animal ingredients is generally avoided.
