Yes, the device is safe for daily use! We recommend limiting each session to about 5 minutes per area. If you’re using the microcurrent to intensively tone your facial muscles (for added volume in the cheeks), 2 to 3 times a week is often enough to maintain fantastic results.

It’s very simple! The Slimax comes with a smart charging station that has a built-in UV disinfection feature. As soon as you place the device back in the station, the UV light automatically sanitizes the treatment head within the first minute. You can also wipe the head down with an alcohol wipe (75%) if desired. Never submerge the device in water.

No, microcurrent therapy is completely safe and virtually painless. Because the JOVS Slimax is very powerful, you may feel your muscles contract slightly or “twitch” at higher settings—this is actually a sign that your muscles are being effectively stimulated! Always start at level 1 or 2 to let your skin get used to it.
